Duvvuri Suryatheja Reddy is an Associate Developer at IBM with a Post Graduate Diploma in Data Science. He has over a year of work experience with IBM India Pvt. Ltd. in Data Analysis and NLP (Natural Language Processing). He has worked on several projects and case studies, deriving crucial insights from data belonging to domains like Banking, Health, IT, Entertainment, Retail, and Media. Currently, he is working on Text Generation using LSTM for a pre-existing search algorithm of IBM, and continuously working towards improvement in accuracy. He has also worked on the Employee Attrition problem, identifying reasons for attritions using Machine Learning models like Logistic Regression, Decision Tree, and Random Forest Algorithms. He has provided valuable insights to reduce the employee attrition rate in the company, which helped in a substantial increase in the company’s revenue. He is also experienced in identifying new processes, determining gaps in existing processes, and implementing new processes. He has participated in design reviews and contributed to the allocation of functionality to specific system components. In the past, Duvvuri worked as a Data Science Intern at Samsung, where he assisted as a Lead Scoring Analysis to find out which customers are potential leads of IBM Websites using Logistic Regression. He built reusable code for future use and performed exploratory Data Analysis to visualize how each column relates to another. He managed data cleaning and gained better clarity on data. He rectified & removed highly correlated predictors with the help of Variance Inflation Factor, as this correlation could have affected the analysis. He worked on a Logistic Regression model to identify the important columns that help to convert potential leads to customers and provided recommendations to the company to increase potential leads. Duvvuri holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Data Science from IIIT Bangalore and a Bachelor's degree and Bachelor of Engineering - BE in Computer Science from BIT Mesra.
